An interview wtih Guy Kawasaki discussing Content Marketing
Interview with Guy Kawaski. He has some specific thoughts on the future of content curators not curation itself.
With so many sources of original content, it’s getting increasingly difficult to stand out from the crowd. You have to create, curate, and share content, but you must also position yourself as an expert and genuinely interact with your communities.
While this may be a trend that we’ll see in the future, there may be a combination of curation and thought leadership. Curating content has been around as long as the social networks - sharing and article and it’s always great to get a tweet from a perceived thought leader within your industry. This will not change in the foreseeable future. There is a difference between though leaders who not only curate but also create themselves. What do you think?
