B2B Content Marketing: Stats You Need to Know

Starfleet Media released their 2014 Benchmark Report on B2B Content Marketing and Lead Generation this summer. Ayaz Nanji from MarketingProfs goes through the highlights of the report, which surveyed content marketers from over 250 B2B companies from around the world. With 56% of respondents saying they spent less than half of their marketing budgets on content marketing in the past year, things look like they may be changing.

Nearly two-thirds (63%) of B2B marketers plan to allocate a greater portion of their marketing budgets to content marketing over the next 12 months . . . Moreover, almost a quarter (23%) of the B2B marketers surveyed plan to more than double their spending on content marketing in the year ahead.”
