Jake Sorofman of Gartner gets Content Marketing

Jake Sorofman of Gartner in this piece “When Content Eats Marketing” talks about how authentic content is taking over marketing.  In particularly he writes:

Search marketing used to be about optimizing content for machines. Now, mercifully, it’s about optimizing content for human beings.

This is the same philosophy that is followed by good content curator.  They curate content for the audience’s sake and add perspective and value, versus aggregators who regurgiated keyword stuffed content for machines.
