Turn a Dull Subject Into Content Gold

As marketers, we are tasked with constantly creating new content. However, some marketers sell boring products or services, and struggle to make this content entertaining. Barry Feldman of Feldman Creative put together a SlideShare to help content marketers go beyond a dull subject matter. He includes several examples of brands that have turned uninteresting subjects (such as adult diapers or kitty litter) into content that inspires customers to act. His best piece of advice? Focus on your reader. He says:

A very common content marketing question: How do I create interesting content about… (insert dull category here)? On one hand, it’s a good question. But it’s a bad question. Because it’s the wrong question. A better question: How do I excite my readers?”
