The title here is misleading, and distorts the definition of curation.  However, the article is a good overview of 5 free tools that for content curation but can be used to gather content together, that can then be used for content curation efforts.  A new one that I had never heard of that was fun and visual is Spezify.  Take a read, and try it out:

      It limits content sources to Instagram, Flickr, Twitter, Vimeo, eBay, Amazon, and Soundcloud. It’s visual in nature like Search Cube, but with a very different set of content sources to choose from.
