CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwire - September 30, 2010) - HiveFire, an online content marketing technology company, will explore the trends, including content curation, that will shape marketing as hosts and participants at several FutureM events next week. As a leading player in Boston's growth as a hub for the burgeoning online marketing community, HiveFire will be highly visible at FutureM, the first-ever week-long, multi-location conference showcasing the freshest thinking in marketing, media and technology.
In support of the week's events, HiveFire will leverage its flagship content curation solution,Curata, to aggregate, organize and share prominent news and multimedia related to FutureM. The site, which goes live today, can be found at http://curata.futurem.org and will provide attendees and onlookers from around the world access to comprehensive event coverage and outcomes.

Events Fuel Marketing and Technology Innovation Excitement
The highlight of the week-long event will be the 2nd annual Curata Users' Conference, being held Friday, October 8, 2010, for registered HiveFire customers. Curata is a powerful and elegant solution that enables online content marketing and the conference is designed to help users take full advantage of its power. The day-long agenda includes customer awards and an address from CEO Pawan Deshpande, as well as instructive sessions that will provide tips on how users can leverage Curata for SEO, email, social media and analytics. Steven Rosenbaum, content curation luminary and CEO of video curation engine Magnify.net, will also be speaking at this event on his upcoming book, "Curation Nation."Among other events, HiveFire will also be actively involved in:
- Cyberbrew, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. -- Once the region's largest monthly networking event for the technology industry in New England, Cyberbrew returns for a very special appearance during FutureM in celebration of HiveFire's successful September launch. This event, co-hosted with Boston.com, will bring together hundreds on Thursday, October 7 at Mantra for an evening of networking and festivities to honor the past, present and future of local technology innovation.
- The Inbound Marketing Summit, Oct. 6-7 -- Featuring the brightest minds in the business, this conference is where the online marketing community gathers to solve today's marketing and business communications challenges. Deshpande will deliver best practices for marketers to successfully navigate the flood of information available online during his presentation about the future of content marketing on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 3:35 p.m.

In a separate event on the evening of Oct. 7, Deshpande will be honored by The Boston Business Journal at its annual "40 Under 40" award dinner.
