We sometimes spend too much time on interesting but "not-useful debates about the difference between journalism and marketing as those concepts apply to content marketing. It's a bit like arguing about whether Twitter is "writing" or "speech."
The latest rage is whether "curation" actually is "content curation." Business to business marketers generally have no time for such discussions, which are important for business reasons for consultants and academics.
Likewise, some might argue that judgment or annotation is what separates "aggregation" from "curation." Some of us would argue even that misses the point.
