  1. Curators Work with Both "Stock" and "Flow" Content

    1. Percolate founder James Gross often speaks about "stock" content, which he describes as "timeless and durable," and "flow" content, which is more disposable and, one might say, "newsy." He argues that "evergreen" or "stock" content leans toward the "original," while "flow" content lends itself to curation. As with all taxonomies, there is some value. As with nearly all "rules" related to content curation, it is a bit of a false dichotomy. One can curate stock content as easily as flow content, and one can be original when creating "flow" content as well as stock content.
