Semantic Search Will Make Content Curation More Valuable, SEO Less Useful

Google's search rankings are the reason the search engine optimization even exists. But SEO leads to "SEO gaming" of search results. As Google moves increasingly to "semantic search," incorporating assessments of searcher intent, SEO gaming will become harder. That's a good thing. Those changes also illustrate why content curation is becoming more valuable. Curation can answer questions in ways that semantic search algorithms prefer.
