The Hourglass of Community Curation vs the Funnel of Content Curation

1. Rather than thinking of curation as a filtering funnel like process, this article compares curation to more of an hourglass worflow.

   Most of the time when I hear people describe content curation is sounds like a funnel style process.  You take in a large amounts of content and condense it.  But since we are focusing more on the community aspects, we can see that the need to give credit demands that we expand our communications.
