About Joseph Rueter
Joseph was raised in a contractor’s home where, even as a child, he developed a fascination for discovery and a deep appreciation for the creation process. He has a great attitude towards all things innovative – for the process of innovation as well as the innovative product.
His credentialed studies include such vast areas as: Theology, Philosophy and Graphic Design. Beyond his education, Joseph has had a diverse set of experiences in high leverage roles, such as: a successful entrepreneur, a project manager, an executive intern, a head swim coach, a software instructor, and an information architect. His work experience includes General Mills, PricewaterHouseCoopers, Cadillac, XM, Travelers, Hasbro, Deluxe and National City.
Joseph is focused on the intersection of business and design; specifically, how products and services are informed by user experiences. Joseph is the co-founder of both .extendr.com and TweetThisText.com. He serves on the programing boards of the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association and Minnesota’s TED event TEDxTC. You might also run into him at local tech events where he is very active.
