David Meerman Scott gives an honest opinion content curation saying:
Yes, there is value in pointing to others work. But that is the point – it is other people's work, not your own.
But he simplifies curation to the simple act of linking to other's content which is incorrect. Content curation also involves organizing, and most important annotating and adding your perspective to that content along the way. Lastly, David is wrong about curation being a poor substitute for curated content. A good curator knows that curation is not a substitute for original content but a supplement.
